Street Closures

The details… Well it’s that time of year again. Christmas In The Ward is Friday December 3 at 5:00pm. The fireworks display will be staged from 236 S. Water Street and will go off above the river. Please be advised that between 6:00pm-6:30pm there will be no access over the Young Street bridge between the Third and Fifth Wards. The following street will be closed:
South Water from East Florida to East Pittsburg
East Pittsburg from South Water to South Barclay.

The details… Last night there was a theft of a lap top computer and headphones left unattended from a studio on the second floor. The theft was committed by two individuals who passed themselves off as students.They entered the studio and took the laptop off the desk.If you see some one in your studio or classroom that you know does not belong there or if you see some one in the halls that you think is suspicious please contact security immediately.

Artist Talk Tonight at MIAD

Don’t forget, 5 p.m. this evening, iconic illustrator Stephen Kroninger will make a rare public appearance and give a talk in the Frederick Layton Gallery.

Join us also from 6 – 8 p.m. for the Artists’ Reception.
