The details… The specific collaborators you need for finishing a project can sometimes be hard to meet. Don’t limit yourself to just the folks you know or the people where you live. Finding other artists to collaborate with you is only a few keystrokes away. Learn how to use social media and a handful of collaborative file-sharing, project management and distribution tools to find the artists, filmmakers or musicians you need to wrap up your project. We also cover how to work globally without the hassle of e-mailing files back and forth and how to start the process of letting the world know about your new work.

MIAD DEFINE – Graduate Portraits!

The details… If you are a Graduating Senior make sure you stop by and have your photo taken at the Portrait booth in the First Floor lobby. Take your photo with a Graduation Cap for a photo presentation that will be on display during the Graduation ceremony.

Lost and Found

The details… The end of the semester is fast approaching. There are still several unclaimed items in the lost and found. Some of the unclaimed items in lost and found are:
Cell phones;computer chargers;prescription glasses; sun glasses; jump drives;keys;water bottles and various items of clothing. If you have lost any of these items please stop by the security desk to claim them. Any items left in lost and found at the end of the semester will be disposed of. Also if you have a bike in the bike rack please remember to take your bike home with you. Bikes left in the bike rack and unattended all summer is an open invitation for theft. Any bikes left in the bike rack at the end of the semester will have the locks cut off and the bikes will be donated or disposed of. Thank you for your cooperation.

Don’t Forget! MIAD DEFINE on April 25th!

The details… MIAD DEFINE is a day to learn from each other and engage in a variety of dialogues about art and design. Seniors will present their work in the morning and after lunch there will be panel presentations, forums, roundtables at both MIAD and at the Eisner. A preview of ART21 season six will be running in the Todd Wehr Auditorium all day and the Foundations Student Exhibition at the Eisner will be open in the afternoon. Classes are cancelled for the entire day so that all students, faculty and staff can participate.
