Student Sale at the Erie Street Gallery In Time for the Holidays!

   
The details… A message from ID faculty member, John Caruso:

I would like to invite you to a student holiday sale of designed objects in the Erie street gallery. The opening will be this Friday from 4pm to 9pm, and open during regular hours of the cafe all next week.

There are ideas and explorations in steel, plastic , wood and resin. The students are sophomores in the Materials and Methods 1 class and have been tasked to make multiple objects in small production runs for retail sale. There will be candle holders, vases, little shelves, bicycle holders, wine bottle holders, and ornaments, amongst others.

We take cash and credit and all monies will go to the students and the student scholarship fund.

Annual MIAD Photo Print Sale

MIAD Photo Seniors will be hosting a print sale above Planet Bead on Friday December 7th. All the prints are work that the seniors and juniors have made and put together. It is a great time to get some amazing artwork for yourself or as a gift for Christmas at reasonable prices. All the money will be left for the next class of photo seniors to help them do something exciting and beneficial for their class.
Prints will range in price anywhere from $25-$300 so anyone can find what they are looking for. There will also be a $1 raffle for a collection of small prints.
Food and drink will be provided, it is sure to be a great night so come out, have fun and buy some prints!

MIAD is now hiring for the leadership positions of MIAD Mentor and Resident Hall Assistants at the Park for Fall 2013. We encourage all interested and eligible candidates to apply.  If interested in both positions, please apply to both! Application Deadline:  Friday, February 1, 2013

  • Complete On Campus Student Employment form, including two referents (one referent being MIAD faculty or staff)
