MIAD Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and You Can Join Us!

The details… Wear your custom-designed t-shirt with pride as you support a great cause and get your cardio in.

You don’t have to be involved in the Compassion Project to participate and you don’t have to do any fundraising (unless you want to!).

We’ll pick a place to meet on the morning of the event (more info. to come).

We are having special t’s printed in an assortment of sizes (hint: they won’t be pink). You’ll also get an event t-shirt as part of your registration packet.

Be sure to look for ISA sophomore Alyssa Anderson’s semi-permanent sculpture which was commissioned by the Strides committee and will grace the start/finish line at the event.

Afterwards, you’re invited back to MIAD for a short compassion project end-of-school year reception and exhibit from 11:30am to 1:30 pm in photo area classroom, 299Q, on the second floor.

The details… On May 25TH my roommate is moving out. This is a wonderful place to live it’s on Lloyd and Hubbard so about one block from the brady st. bridge. This isn’t a party house it’s a very chill atmosphere it is fully furnished besides your room of coarse. E-mail me if you are interested its a very large Victorian. No Cats or Dogs Cig smoking outside… will send pics once you email.

The details… The UW-Milwaukee Art History Department’s biennial museum studies seminar presents Fragments of Faith, an exhibition of religious and ritual artifacts donated to the UWM Art Collection over the last forty years. The objects on display include medieval Christian reliquaries and African fetish figures that demonstrate not only the manifold ways in which humans give material expression to the sacred, but also profound similarities among the spiritual practices of diverse peoples.
