Marquette’s Student Counseling Center is a professional counseling service staffed by licensed psychologists and doctoral students working under close supervision from the licensed staff. The Counseling Service deals entirely with the issues specific to college students and specializes in issues like stress, anxiety, eating disorders, substance abuse, depression, home sickness and other transitional issues, relationship problems, and other problems college students face. More complex issues and problems requiring long term treatment will be referred to an off-campus specialist at the student’s expense. Students will be asked to present their MIAD ID when they arrive for their appointment.

The Student Counseling Center is located on the second floor of Holthusen Hall, at 1324 W. Wisconsin Avenue. The Counseling Center is accessible via the same bus routes as are listed above for the Health Center. On-street, metered parking is usually available and also for a nominal fee in the MU parking structure at the intersection of Wells and 13th Street.
