Date? October 1-4, 2015 Time? Thurs–Sat, 7:30; Sunday at 2:00 Where? UWM Kenilworth 508 Theater, 1925 E Kenilworth Place How Much? students $15; general $25 The details… “Rumore di acque (Noise in the Waters)” is theatre work created as a response to the tragedy of refugees attempting to cross the Mediterranean Sea from Africa to Europe, and — in so many cases — drowning.
This has been an ongoing problem for the past 15 years, which has only recently appeared in U.S. news, alongside the news of the Syrian refugee crisis.
“Rumore” features a riveting performance by Italian actor Alessandro Renda as “the General,” a functionary who has to deal with all the souls washed up by the sea.
The text is delivered in Italian, with live onstage translation neatly worked into the piece. Additionally, there is live music by composer/accordionist Guy Klucevsek.

The details… Knowing what is important to you (what you value the most, or your vision for you) can make a huge difference in your attitude and choices. When you are aware of how choices you make can support or thwart your efforts to move toward what is important to you, choices come easily. When you consistently choose what pulls you closer to what you value the most, you are less stressed and anxious, because you more consistently act in accordance with your own best interest!
