|Think of times when you can study “bits” of information or do some preliminary planning, as when walking, riding the bus, etc. Perhaps you’ve got a project that you need to complete, but have not yet planned out the steps to get there…..a few minutes of free time can help you work through the process by mapping it out in your mind. Perhaps you are in a line waiting? Perfect for routine tasks like flash card review of those slides for art history, or if you can concentrate, to read or review a chapter. While you are eating lunch, you can review your calendar and identify times in the coming week to do small portions of the bigger projects and assignments on your to do list. The bottom line is to put your time to good use. Having a plan can keep you focused and prevent you from getting overwhelmed — well worth the few minutes it takes to devise one!
