STUDENT BODY @ Marquette University

Article *
Marquette University will be presenting STUDENT BODY, a play dealing with issues surrounding sexual assault on college campuses, from February 15-25, 2018.

Frank Winters’ STUDENT BODY addresses struggles with sexual assault and rape culture on college campuses through the actions of a group of students. After a party, a camera is discovered with footage of what may be a sexual assault; their struggles and ultimate inability to decide what to do lead audience members to question what they would do in a similar situation. We will be presenting the show and hosting a series of post-show talkbacks, promoting dialogue between students, peers, and campus-wide experts such as Title IX officials, counselors, and MUPD respondents.

As this issue pertains to all college students Marquette wants to invite students from other Milwaukee area schools to join us.

Student tickets are available for $10 and a group of 10 or more individuals of any age can get tickets for $9 each. In addition, tickets are only $6 on Wednesday, February 21 and on Thursday, February 22 students can get 2 tickets for $12.

Please consider attending and help initiate a conversation that will help better address the prominent issue of sexual assault on college campuses.
