Before that he received a BFA in Printmaking at Tyler School of Art, Temple University in Phila. Pa. He as taught at Tyler School of Art, The School of the Art Institute., Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, Anchor Graphics, The Museum of Contemporary Art, Beacon St. Gallery, Gallery 37, and Penland School of Crafts. He is also the Founder and Master Printer at Hummingbird Press Editions. Lucas has been featured in many shows. In 2017, Lucas\u2019s work was featured in, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You Know What Comes Next,<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> a group exhibition, at Gallery 19 in Chicago, IL.
