Barrios received her Bachelor\u2019s in Fine Arts degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is a Master of Fine Arts graduate from The University of Wisconsin-Madison. Barrios has exhibited her artwork internationally in Italy and Mexico and nationally in New York, New Mexico, and Texas. Barrios has received awards for her artwork including the 2020 Women Artist Forward Fund Art Prize and the N\u014d Studios Artist Grant.
