Vahdat\u2019s work focuses on women\/human rights violations and prison system in the Middle East and the USA.<\/p>\n<p>Vahdat\u2019s mixed media installations use wooden structure, fabrics, hand-dyed canvases, various printmaking techniques, and large-scale drawings and paintings in both traditional and non-traditional methods.<\/p>\n<p>Vahdat\u2019s work has been exhibited regularly at regional, national, and international level. Fahimeh has received numerous grants, recently from Deutsch Foundation and Maryland Individual Artist. She also was one of the six Baker Artist Award finalist, 2022.
