It’s hard to believe that the academic year is almost over. We are as excited as you are about your student’s accomplishments and are already looking forward to next year!
Many students are now looking for fall housing, so we wanted to let you know that returning students are welcome in MIAD’s residence hall – The Park at 1824.The Park offers many benefits, most importantly that students who reside in a residence hall have been shown as more likely to excel academically and socially, and to feel more connected to their peers. Your student will, of course, have a choice of suitemates, and every attempt will be made to house upper-level students on the first floor of The Park.
The Park at 1824 offers additional amenities that students living off campus cannot find at a competitive price, such as,
- Furnished units, including a fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances and dishwasher, a 42″ plasma television in the living area, cable television and wireless internet; a lounge, fitness center and onsite laundry
- Onsite resident advisors & resident professional Hall Director
- A private shuttle provided by MIAD and The Park at 1824 for transport to and from campus, and the advantage of being on a single, free county bus line to MIAD
- Underground heated parking for a nominal fee
- Close proximity to The Urban Ecology Center, where many students perform their Service Learning
But time and space are limited! Please click here to send in your student’s housing contract as soon as possible.
