{"id":1541,"date":"2020-11-09T15:12:37","date_gmt":"2020-11-09T21:12:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.miad.edu\/parents\/?p=1541"},"modified":"2020-11-09T15:12:39","modified_gmt":"2020-11-09T21:12:39","slug":"how-your-student-can-sell-their-work-at-the-miad-holiday-sale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.miad.edu\/parents\/2020\/11\/09\/how-your-student-can-sell-their-work-at-the-miad-holiday-sale\/","title":{"rendered":"How your student can sell their work at the MIAD Holiday Sale"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.miad.edu\/get-involved\/for-friends-and-donors\/development-events\/miad-holiday-sale\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MIAD Holiday Sale<\/a> is an opportunity for students to showcase and sell their work to a wide audience. <strong>This year\u2019s holiday sale is going virtual and moving to February 5 \u2013 6, 2021.<\/strong> All students currently enrolled at MIAD are invited to submit work to sell in the college-affiliated sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Proceeds from the MIAD Holiday Sale support the participating student artists and designers, while also benefiting MIAD student scholarships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How your student can participate<\/strong><br>Registration is now open for MIAD students to sell their work at the 2021 MIAD Holiday Sale. Any student \u2013 from first-year to seniors \u2013 can participate by selling drawings, photographs, prints, paintings, design work, sculptures, jewelry, handmade gifts and cards, or other work.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our virtual platform space is limited, and we expect the spaces to fill quickly. <strong>Available spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Students need to submit an application to participate by December 11, 2020<\/strong>.
