Without written consent from the student through the \u201cRelease of Student Information Form,\u201d MIAD is legally prohibited from releasing a student\u2019s personal, academic or financial information <em>to anyone<\/em> except the student, regardless of the student\u2019s age.<\/p>\n<p>Exceptions to FERPA are allowed in life-threatening emergencies.<\/p>\n<p>Questions about FERPA should be directed to Jean Weimer, Associate Director of Registration Services; 414-847-3272, jeanweimer@miad.edu.
