Caf\u00e9, will offer cuisine to please everyone&#8217;s &#8216;palette,&#8217; including vegan and vegetarian options. And thanks to Michael Marten &#8217;12, MIAD&#8217;s Caf\u00e9 also has a new, cheerful atmosphere that suits its name!<\/p>\n<p>Meet the MIAD Caf\u00e9 staff, and read more about the Caf\u00e9 and available meal plans&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Manager Aimee Damico has worked in the food industry for over 25 years.\u00a0 She has many years of award-winner customer service, managerial experience, food presentation and catering skills, and will bring a new level of excellence to our caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Cook Joeann Davis is known to many students already. She has 25 years of experience in the cooking and catering businesses, and greeted us all warmly as breakfast cook and supervisor while working for previous vendors at MIAD. She has shared that she is thrilled to be working directly for, and with, MIAD.<\/p>\n<p>The MIAD Caf\u00e9 is open Monday through Friday for Breakfast and Lunch. Students can grab a sandwich, salad and a daily special of a hot meal. The newly designed Caf\u00e9 is their place to hang out, do homework and grab a bite to eat. Meals are on average $5 \u2013 $6.<\/p>\n<p>Students may purchase a meal card in advance for the MIAD Caf\u00e9. This eliminates the need to worry about bringing a lunch or carrying cash everyday. The MIAD\u00a0Caf\u00e9 Card can be used for purchases in the\u00a0Caf\u00e9 only.<\/p>\n<p>A continuing balance is maintained in the food service database, and students can find out from the cashier at any time how much is remaining on the card.<\/p>\n<p>Students living at MIAD\u2019s Residence Hall (The Park) have been enrolled in a MIAD\u00a0Caf\u00e9 Meal plan at the rate of $250 per semester but can increase their meal plan also by filling out the form below.<\/p>\n<p>They will receive an e-mail receipt that they should print and keep until their\u00a0Caf\u00e9 Card is activated.<\/p>\n<p>Funds remaining on the meal card at the end of the fall semester can be carried over to the spring semester.
