MIAD is pleased to announce a new food service vendor this fall – D&S Davians, a Wisconsin-based, family-owned company founded in 1958 that specializes both in small, retail food service operations (like MIAD’s) and high-end catering for special events.
Café hours are: Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. Check out the daily specials menu, the main feature in addition to all the grab & go items and regular offerings in the Café.
MIAD’s food service is entirely voluntary and students no longer have to pay for a meal plan. Students can dine in the MIAD Café in the academic building when they wish, and pay only for the food items they take.
Because it is a Milwaukee-area company, D&S allows for a flexible, more varied menu, fresher food items and a management team responsive to student needs. D&S also offers a variety of grab & go food items students can take home, including heat & serve, which will be available in the MIAD Café and at the Student Union across from the academic building.

Student Union Hours are: Monday – Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 10 p.m.; Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., with expanded breakfast/bakery items available.
The MIAD Café operates on a cash, credit card or debit card basis. Because few students carry cash, a credit card or debit card is recommended. The Student Union also takes credit and debit cards. Look for more information to come soon on gift cards that can be used in the cafeteria.
