Andy Rubin

Rubin received his BFA from the Center for Creative Studies-School of Art and Design, and then received an MFA from Arizona State University. Rubin taught Printmaking at Indiana University and was the Master Printer at Tandem Press for over 25 years. Rubin uses abstraction of architectural, shapes and doodles that become landscapes in his abstract pieces. Rubin has several exhibitions under his belt. Such as, In 2015, Rubin’s work was shown in Fertile Ground, Midwest Printmaking Tradition at the Swope Art Museum. Also in 2015, Rubin had a solo exhibition entitled, The Weight of Weather, at the Marzen Gallery, Madison,WI.
