Mary Hood

Mary is originally from Milwaukee. Hood received a BFA in Printmaking/Painting at the Ringling School of Art and Design. Hood also received a MFA in Printmaking from Braniff Graduate School of Liberal Arts.Hood is currently an associate professor at Arizona State University in Tempe. Hood has also taught at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of North Texas. In 2016, Hood’s work was featured in Small Stories and Other Adventures at the Artisan Gallery, in Madison WI, and the show Inhabiting at the Galleries of Contemporary Art at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs.
