Monika is originally from Brodnica, Poland, she earned her BFA from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. She continued studies at Purdue University, where she earned an MA, and then received an MFA from the Tyler School of Art, Temple University. Her work examines actual and constructed memory through printmaking. Meler’s work has been featured at the show, The Shape of Things/New Approaches to Indigenous Abstraction at the Missoula Art Museum, in 2018.
